Brazil nuts have high amounts of vitamin-E. Estimately, 100 gr of these nuts have a powerful 52% of the recommended daily intake of Vit E. Vit E is an important antioxidant which aids in maintaining cell membranes, skin and mucus membranes.

Brazil nuts are known to have the highest levels of selenium found naturally in any plant, containing roughly seven times the daily recommended selenium value in just 1 ounce.  One – two pieces of nuts are all that is required.
