Quick Recipe: Vegan Meatballs with Texturized Pea Protein
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Texturized Pea Protein
- 1/2 cup vegetable broth or water
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp oregano
- Salt and pepper
Instructions:
- Soak Texturized Pea Protein in broth for 40 minutes, then drain.
- Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil.
- Mix soaked protein, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Shape into meatballs and cook in oil until golden (5-7 minutes).
- Serve with sauce or pasta.
