The Power Monday has arrived with your dose of motivation and knowledge to face the week with energy, a lot of strenght and a big smile.

"If you don't know how, observe the phenomena of nature, they will give you clear answers and inspiration.”

Nikola Tesla

Nature always fascinates, gives us lessons and life. It seems that today we live very far from nature, completely immersed in a fictional world that overstimulates us and generates dependence. Our way of life has changed radically since modern humans evolved about 200,000 years ago, but our bodies and brains are pretty much the same. In the modern world, the part of our brain that responds to the threat is infinitely overstimulated by stress and anxiety.

We forget that we are part of nature and that we need it to live. Denying our interconnection hurts us all, individually and collectively. Much can be understood if we look closely.

2. Pauer Curiosity

Why is the sea salty?

It may seem like an absurd question, but why is the sea salty?

Several natural processes make ocean water salty:

(i) When it rains, water droplets react with carbon dioxide in the atmosphere to form carbonic acid, making rainwater slightly acidic. This acid rainwater reacts with the minerals present in the rocks and forms new minerals and salts. This acid rainwater reacts with the minerals present in the rocks and forms new minerals and salts. These minerals and salts are transported by water flowing into the oceans, thus making saltwater water.

(ii) Along the ridges of the middle ocean, magma rises near the oceanic crust. When ocean water drains into the earth's crust, it heats up due to magma. This hot water dissolves more minerals in the crust and transports them to the oceans through fissures called "hydrothermal vents", making the water in the salt ocean.

There is a way to die that is quite ironic: to die of dehydration surrounded by thousands of gallons of water. This can happen to you at sea. You are surrounded by water but you cannot see sea water because it dehydrates you more.

Why can't we drink sea water? Seawater has a concentration of about 3% salt, while our kidneys can not excrete a salt concentration higher than 2%, so we are forced to maintain osmotic balance by removing water from our body to dilute the extra salt content, and this causes us dehydration.
