The Power Monday has arrived with your dose of motivation and knowledge to face the week with energy, a lot of strenght and a big smile.
You’ve probably already faced some degree of rejection and disapproval from friends and family. When you change, you adopt new habits, or you discover something new that changes the way you are or understand the world and makes you feel better. You want to share it and make people feel like you.
But they don’t listen to you, more likely they seem to oppose you. They seem to listen more to people from the outside than people to you. No one likes to be told what to do.
What happens is that their perception of you is part of their reality. When we evolve into another state we affect their paradigm, and that makes them feel uncomfortable.
It’s not entirely his fault, it’s an unconscious defense mechanism. This fact is called cognitive dissonance.
2. Pauer Food
Kale
Of all the super-healthy vegetables, KALE is the queen. It is definitely one of the most nutritious plants on the planet with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
The leaves are very dark green or purple, and very rich in _beta-carotene, vitamin K (excessively rich), vitamin A, vitamin C, lutein, zeaxanthin, calcium (more than a glass of milk). They also provide iron, potassium, magnesium, manganese, B vitamins and fiber. It also contains sulforaphane with anticancer properties.
The leaves have a strong consistency that they lose once boiled. Raw ones are more nutritious (few oxalates) and can be cut very thin by increasing the amount of sulforaphane.
According to my brother, raw tastes like a nasty tire, but I think he exaggerates. In salads or sandwiches it can be used to replace lettuce to provide a higher nutritional value. It can be cooked like spinach.
