The Power Monday has arrived with your dose of motivation and knowledge to face the week with energy, a lot of strenght and a big smile.
We are lucky to be alive. Life is curious, sometimes we give more value to meaningless things, to constructs of society that are essentially useless, we let go of what matters most, and very often we take life for granted, but it is more ephemeral than it seems.
Live full, die empty.
2. Power Food
OATS
Oats or Avena sativa is a very nutritious and healthy cereal, often undervalued. Grain specifically refers to the edible seeds of oat grass, which is what ends up in our breakfast bowls.
It is rich in fiber (soluble and insoluble), phosphorus, thiamine, magnesium and zinc. Depending on the processing of the cereal, the glycemic index changes, the less processed the better.
One of the types of fiber it contains is Betaglucan, which has been shown to have different health benefits. It has cardiovascular benefits as it helps lower LDL cholesterol levels. It helps keep sugar levels stable (good for diabetics), helps control body weight, and helps prevent constipation, among other things.
It is relatively tasteless, very cheap, nutritious and versatile in the kitchen. A good combination, fast, easy and very nutritious is to combine oats with natural yogurt (soy or milk it doesn't matter) (and whatever you want as fruit or nuts), creating a Symbiotic = Probiotic + Prebiotic , which has very positive effects on the intestinal microbiota. You can add everything you want. Maybe some goji berries, or nuts or dates... You can find awesome products on this website.
